Last week on the 23rd of April 2018, I attended the Petronas Youngstars Day 2018.  The news came to me on the 11th of April when I was admitted in the hospital. I didn't really give much thought to it as I had upcoming interviews before PYD which just occupied my thoughts. Well, when the day came, I reached KDU College, Glenmarie at around 8am. It was about a 45 mins drive from my house. When I arrived at KDU, I was immediately separated from my dad. I was guided to a hall full of students. We had to register with our original and certified documents (instruction will be given when you are shortlisted) at the counter. We were assigned to designated computer labs and were required to sit with people with the same lab number. We were then given a brief summary of the whole scholarship programme and about Petronas. READ THIS BEFORE APPLYING  Bank Negara Scholarship is one of the most prestigious scholarship that is made available for post-SPM candidates. There are 2 categories in this scholarship, Kijang Emas and Kijang. Kijang Emas is a scholarship for Straight A+ candidates who are allowed to pursue any courses including those that aren't related to Bank Negara. For the Kijang scholarship, it is available to 8A+/A candidates for courses such as  Economics, Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Law  and  Computer Science. Now I will like to tell you my piece of advice that I really wish someone had told me when I was applying. I am a Straight A+ SPM Candidate and I applied for Computer Science as my first choice and Accounting as my second choice (Courses which are related to BN). Hi again. I recently went to YTN Scholarship Interview. The Interview was held at UNITEN Kajang. Before getting to this stage, we obviously have to apply online for this scholarship. It was very simple. So, this is the first post-SPM interview that I was shortlisted for so I was quite nervous coming into it but soon enough I realise that Khazanah Global, Petronas, BN and any other scholarship will be tougher than this. Before I tell you any details regarding the interview, I just want to let anyone reading this know that it changes every year and this is my year experience. Btw, I applied for Accounting in the UK and my session was the morning session. Regarding the number of applicants, I am not quite sure as there were about 50 applicants during my session and this event was held for 4 days. Let's begin.
